Inter Milan officially announced this Saturday the signing of striker Mehdi Taremi, who was at Porto. The 31-year-old center forward signed with the Italian club for three seasons, until June 2027.
The Irian has already said his first words after signing the contract and did not hide his happiness at arriving at Internazionale.
“I am very happy to be here with you. It is like a dream for me. I am feeling very good. And I have to say that it is the best moment of my life,” he said.

Last season, the striker was one of Porto’s biggest stars. In total, he played 35 matches, scored 11 goals and provided 7 assists. Now, in Italian football, Taremi revealed how he can help the Azzurri achieve good results.
“Serie A is a big league in the world. I try to do my best, as always. And I want to do my best at Inter. As a center forward, I have to keep scoring, providing assists and winning games, which is the most important thing for the team,” he said.
Taremi is one of the greatest players in the history of his country and has scored 50 goals in 85 games. He is also the first Iranian to play for Inter Milan. The athlete celebrated this achievement.
“I knew it and it was my choice. I did my best to be here and I think it’s very good,” he said.
