The Russian youth ice hockey team won the first victory at the World Cup

The Russian youth ice hockey team beat the Swiss team in the group round match of the 2022 World Youth Championship, RIA Novosti reports.

Meeting at the Canadian Red Deer. ended with the score 4: 2 (3: 1, 0: 0, 1: 1) in favor of the Russians. This is the first victory for the national team at the MFM. Among the charges of Sergei Zubov, Danila Yurov (in the 8th minute), Dmitry Zlodeev (16), Pavel Tyutnev (18) and Matvey Michkov (42) distinguished themselves with scored goals.

Among the Swiss, goals were scored by Attilio Biasca (19) and Fabian Ritzman (59). Russian goalkeeper Yegor Guskov saved 16 shots out of 18. The national team made 32 shots on target.

Now, on December 30, the Russian national team will meet with the Slovakian team. The match starts at 12:30 Moscow time.

On December 27, the Russian youth ice hockey team lost to Sweden in the MFM match with a score of 6: 3. Fyodor Svechkov and Matvey Michkov distinguished themselves in the national team.
