Frenchman François Letexier has been chosen by UEFA to referee the Euro 2024 final, which will be played between Spain and England this Sunday.
Letexier will be assisted by his compatriots Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni. Two other French referees, Jérôme Brisard and Willy Delajod, will be in charge of video refereeing.
At 35 years old and an international referee since 2017, François Letexier has already refereed 65 UEFA competition matches, including the 2023 European Super Cup, when Manchester City beat Sevilla.

In this Euro, he refereed three games: Denmark and Serbia, Croatia and Albania and Spain and Georgia. He was also the fourth official in the opening game, between Germany and Scotland,
Letexier’s presence in the final was possible because of France’s elimination in the semi-final against Spain.
