Zenit defender Yuri Gorshkov said he doesn’t like alcohol
Zenit newcomer Yuri Gorshkov revealed his attitude to alcohol in an interview with the SBG SHOW YouTube channel.
Gorshkov said that he does not like alcohol because he knows about its harm to the body, especially for athletes. “But on vacation, of course, I can afford beer and wine. I drank two or three glasses, I don’t see anything wrong with that,” the defender added.
The footballer joined Zenit on July 1. Previously, he played for Krylia Sovetov since 2020. In the 2023/2024 season of the Russian Premier League, Gorshkov played 29 matches, scoring four goals and making two assists.
Earlier, Moscow CSKA and Uzbekistan national team footballer Abbosbek Fayzullaev said that he had never tried alcohol. “And I don’t plan to. I don’t want to, and my religion doesn’t allow it,” the midfielder said.
