MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko challenges performer Dzhigan
Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Aleksandr Emelianenko has challenged hip-hop artist Dzhigan (real name Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein). His words are quoted by Sport-Express.
The athlete said that he would gladly fight Dzhigan. “If you are a man, if you have spirit, come out to fight me, otherwise you started this story, like, fight Emelianenko. You pumped and pumped, and then you gave up. Come out, I’ll give you a slap on the back of the head,” he said.
Dzhigan was supposed to be Emelianenko’s next opponent. The athlete’s manager Azamat Bostanov said that his protégé and the musician were ready to fight, but the contract for the fight has not yet been signed.
The 42-year-old Emelianenko has 40 MMA fights under his belt, winning 29 and losing 10. Another fight he participated in ended in a draw.
