Haimar Etxeberria signs for Kern Pharma
Basque: Kern Pharma team Haimar Etxeberria has been working on
The team Kern Pharma has announced the signing of the 20-year-old cyclist Haimar Etxeberriawho comes from the Finisher team and who was proclaimed winner of the Loinatz Proba-Memorial Ion Lazcanohis third victory in one-day races during this year 2024.
In addition to that triumph, Etxeberria won in March the Saint Gregory Saria-Asier Aranceta Memorial and in April the Classic Valladolid-Angel Lozano and Jesus Nieto Memorial; achievements to which he also added in the fourth month of the year a victory in the first stage of the Bidasoa-Itzulia.
“It’s a dream come true to reach professional level. Watching races on television and knowing that you’re going to be there in a few months is something incredible. I consider myself a rider who handles fatigue well, with top speed and who excels on climbs that aren’t excessively long,” he said in statements released by his new team.
