Alaves signs Tomas Conechny until 2028

He Alaves Sports has reached an agreement with Godoy Cruz for the transfer of the Argentine footballer Thomas Conechny to the Vitoria team, with which he signs until June 2028The 26-year-old left-footed winger has arrived in Vitoria-Gasteiz after becoming one of the sensations of Argentine football over the last two seasons.
He arrived at Godoy Cruz at the start of the 2023 season, from Club Almagro, after a stint at Deportivo Maldonado in Uruguay and three years in the United States MLS, playing for Portland Timbers. In a season and a half with the Godoy Cruz shirt, he has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in 61 official matches.
The new Glorioso player will join the Alaves team when the team returns to training on July 8.
