Plushenko: the maximum fee for appearing on the show was $150,000
Two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko spoke about the biggest fee for participation in the show. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Plushenko said that each participant in the show has their own price. “I’ve been in this business for a long time, I’ve gone from the bottom to the top. I started skating for a fee of a thousand dollars. The maximum was 150 thousand dollars for one appearance,” he shared, noting that he was one of the most expensive athletes.
The figure skater said that a good source of income was Pro-Am tournaments, where professionals and amateurs competed. According to him, they paid fabulous money there.
Earlier, Plushenko named the amount for holding a competition with Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin. He said that he was ready to meet his rival on the ice for ten million rubles.
