Ander Ganzabal joins Euskaltel

The Bizkaia runner Ander Ganzabalrecent Spanish champion in the elite category, will be ‘stagiare’ in Euskaltel-Euskadi from August 1, the Basque team announced.
Ganzabal, 24 years old and a cyclist from Laboral Kutxahas won six times this season in the amateur field: the Euskaldun Tournament events in Estella, Gorla and Irun, a stage and the general classification of the Montañés Circuit and the gold in the National Championship held on June 23 in San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
The cyclist from Orozko was also the winner of the Euskaldun and was second in Markina-Xemein and Murgia, third in the Clásica de Aiztondo, Amorebieta, Berriatua and Tolosa, seventh in the Vuelta a Navarra and ninth in the Klasika Santikutz de Legazpi.
