Despite the English national team having a Eurocup below expectations, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi has been standing out in the competition and has aroused the interest of Real Madrid and Barcelona in signing him, according to the English newspaper The Sun.
The player still has two years left on his contract with Crystal Palace, which, according to the newspaper, is asking for around R$304 million to release Guéhi, a figure close to what Bayern Munich will pay for Frenchman Michael Olise, another standout player for the English team.
O The Sun also highlights that Real Madrid’s interest in the defender arose after the loss of captain Nacho Fernández, who signed with Al Qadisiyah, from Saudi Arabia, and left the team. Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham are also said to be interested in signing the player.

Discovered by Chelsea and with spells at Swansea, Guéhi has been at Crystal Palace since 2021, where he has already played 111 matches.
Marc Guéhi is one of England’s standout players at the Euros. The 23-year-old defender has started all four games the team has played so far, and has been a key player in the campaign so far. However, he received his second card in the match against Slovakia and will miss England’s quarter-final clash against Switzerland this Saturday at 1pm (Brasília time).
