Russian Boxing Federation Suspends Hardcore Fighting License Due to Rzayev
The Russian Boxing Federation has suspended the license of the fist and pop MMA league Hardcore Fighting Championship due to offensive statements made by Azerbaijani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Javid Rzayev against Russian Artur Kulinsky. This was reported on the federation’s Telegram channel.
The federation stated that the league must eliminate the violations identified and pay a fine. It is noted that the organization will be obliged to compensate for the damage caused to the business reputation of the Russian Boxing Federation.
Earlier, the Russian Boxing Federation filed a complaint against Rzayev with the Prosecutor General’s Office. It is noted that the federation conducted an investigation into the incident that occurred on May 22, 2024, at the Hardcore FC Fist League competition. Based on its results, a complaint was filed with the Prosecutor General’s Office, and a decision was made to disqualify the athlete. On May 22, Rzayev defeated Russian Sergey Prikhodko as part of the Hardcore organization tournament. After the fight, Rzayev got into an altercation with MMA fighter Artur Kulinsky and called him a Russian pig.
