The Belgian Football Federation (RBFA) apologized this Saturday, after publishing on its social networks, last Friday, a video in which it referred to Kylian Mbappé in terms considered threatening, before the duel with France, for round of 16 of the European Cup.
In the video, a comedian asks Amadou Onana who will attack Mbappé’s tibia in the match and the Belgian midfielder replies, laughing: “Onana!”
“We have worked with (the actor) Pablo Andrés several times. It was always in a humorous mood. This time, that was not the case. That’s why we removed the video,” said Stefan Van Loock, RBFA spokesperson at a press conference this Saturday.
