The broadcast footage shows that the roof of the Signal Iduna Park arena in Dortmund, where the game is taking place, is leaking directly into the stands.
At the time of the stoppage, the score in the match was not open – 0:0. After a 25-minute pause, the meeting resumed.
Earlier on June 29, in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the European Championship, the Swiss beat the Italians with a score of 2:0. In the 37th minute, the goal was scored by the Swiss midfielder Remo Freuler, the second goal was sent into the net of the Italians by the striker Ruben Vargas in the 46th minute.
