Coach Sagnol said that Georgia is proud of the team’s progress to the Euro playoffs

“When you’re a small team, you know you have nothing to lose. The only thing we said before the start of the tournament was not to regret not playing our football,” said Sagnol. He added that the players wanted to make Georgia proud of them with their play.
In the third match of the Euro 2024 group stage, the Georgian team defeated the Portuguese team with a score of 2:0. In the second minute, striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored. In the 57th minute, forward Georges Mikautadze converted a penalty.
