The selection of Romania took first place in the tie group E with the tie (1-1) this Wednesday before a Slovakia which will also be in Euro Cup round of 16 as third.

Around the 20th minute, Slovakia had the first good chance, but the ball sailed past the rival goal without finding a finisher. Belgium qualified for the round of 16 as second in group E after draw 0-0 against Ukraineeliminated from the tournament after finishing in last place.

Belgium started the match more active. Lukaku had a chance in the 7th minute, although without hooking his left foot inside the area after a nice pass from De Bruyne between the lines. Ukraine’s response took a long time to come, until the 20th minute, when the Valencia attacker Roman Yaremchuk shot from distance and the rival goalkeeper, Koen Casteels, caught it without problems.

Upon returning from the locker room, the match continued to suffer from a slow pace and a lack of real danger. The four minutes added by Anthony Taylor was the time that Ukraine had in front of them to score, as they were going to be left out of the competition. But despite such urgency, Rebrov’s team did not find a way to put Casteels in greater trouble.
