A goalless draw on the last day of group C of the Euro 2024 directed to England to the round of 16 as first in the group and completed the classification of Sloveniawhich will play in the tournament qualifiers for the first time in its history.
England did not start the game well at all, excessively erratic and without offensive arguments, although their rival, except for a weak header from Benjamin Sesko, did not create many problems for them either.
The English team played excessively slowly and only found a way to do damage on the left side. Jude Bellingham barely appeared and so did Harry Kane, well supported by the Slovenian defense, who got a little scare in England’s best and fastest combination that ended in a beautiful goal by Bukayo Saka, disallowed due to previous offside.
The Slovenians were unable to leave their field and found themselves increasingly trapped in the balls that wandered around their area. A shot from outside the area by Cerin was his only option.
Data sheet:
0 – England: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Guéhi, Trippier (Alexander-Arnold, d. 84); Rice, Gallagher; Saka (Palmer, d. 71), Bellingham, Foden (Gordon, d. 90); Kane.
0 – Slovenia: Oblak; Karnicnik, Bijol, Drkusic, Janza (Balkovec, d. 91); Stojanovic, Adam Gnezda Cerin, Elsnik, Mlakar (Celar, d. 86); Sporar (G. Stankovic, d. 86), Sesko (Ilicic, d. 75).
Referee: Clement Turpin (France). He yellow carded the Englishmen Trippier (m. 18), Guehi (m. 68) and Foden (m. 77) and the Slovenians Janza (m. 22) and Bijol (m. 72).

Denmark and Serbia tied 0-0 at the Allianz Arena stadium and the Scandinavian team qualified for the round of 16 after achieving second place in the group after adding three points throughout the group stage.
Denmark monopolized everything: possession and chances. Serbia didn’t even get close to Schmeichel’s goal and survived with saves from Rajkovic, who intervened in a providential way after a couple of shots from Eirksen and Hojlund. The Mallorca goalkeeper, without a doubt, supported his team, that he expected to react after passing through the locker room with his news and with a better attitude.
Tadic and Jovic provided a little more push to Serbia, which barely lasted ten minutes in which they revolutionized the duel. In that period of time, Jovic caused an own goal from Christensen, but at the start he was offside and the VAR confirmed the illegal position.
Serbia appeared with all its artillery. They accumulated three forwards and, except for a shot by Mitrovic, they did not even manage to generate anything beyond the disallowed goal.
Data sheet:
0 – Denmark: Schmeichel; Bah (Kristiansen, min. 77), Andersen, Christensen, Vestergaard, Maehle; Hjulmand (Delaney, min. 77), Hojbjerg, Eriksen (Poulsen, min. 88); Hojlund (Dolberg, min. 59) and Wind (Skov Olsen, min. 46).
0 – Serbia: Rajkovic; Mijailovic (Mladenovic, min. 73), Veljkovic, Milenkovic, Pavlovic, Zivkovik; Gudelj (Tadic, min. 46), Ilic (Vlahovic, min. 68); Samardzic (Jovic, min. 46), Lukic (Milinkovic-Savic) and Mitrovic.
Referee: François Letexier (France). He showed a yellow card to Milenkovic (min. 4) from Serbia and to Wind (min. 28) and Hjulmand (min. 30) from Denmark and to Mitrovic (min. 83).
