Italian Daniele De Rossi renewed his contract until 2027 as coach of Roma, a position he has held since January when he replaced Portuguese José Mourinho, the capital club announced this Tuesday.
“Roma is proud to officially renew Daniele De Rossi’s contract as coach of its first team until 2027,” the Italian club said in a statement.
De Rossi, who spent 18 seasons at Roma as one of their most notable midfielders, replaced Mourinho, who was fired mid-season.
