The EHF does not include Bidasoa in the Champions League; the Irun team will compete in the European League

The European Handball Federation (EHF) announced this Friday the list of teams participating in the next EHF Champions Leaguerelationship in which The request for participation from Bidasoa Irun has not been included.
Following the EHF’s decision, the club has stated the following in a statement: “CD Bidasoa wants to show its pride and happiness at having been on the first list of candidates to participate in the EHF Champions League 2024-2025, already being a “This fact is good news and recognition of the work of recent years. The club wants to thank all the positive and encouraging messages received this last week after applying for the place.”
Bidasoa Irun will participate in the next EHF European League after having been runner-up in the Plenitude League (Spanish League). The club has assured that they will continue working to ensure that national and European successes return to Irun.
