Maxim Glushenkov moved from Lokomotiv to Zenit
Midfielder Maxim Glushenkov moved from Lokomotiv Moscow to Zenit St. Petersburg. The blue-white-blues announced the transfer on their Telegram channel.
The contract with the player was concluded according to the “4+1” system; the financial terms of the deal were not specified. “I have mixed feelings so far – there were busy days in St. Petersburg, undergoing a medical examination, but overall the emotions are only positive,” Glushenkov said.
Earlier it was reported that Glushenkov would earn one billion rubles at Zenit in four years. The blue-white-blues will pay 600 million rubles for the player’s transfer, another 400 million will be spent on agent payments and lifting fees.
Glushenkov became the best assistant and was in the top 3 best players in the “goal plus pass” system last season in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The 24-year-old player scored seven goals and made 16 assists in 29 league matches.
