Chairman of the board of directors of Moscow Lokomotiv Yuri Nagornykh announced the transfer of the best red-green football player Maxim Glushenkov to Zenit St. Petersburg. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to him, the clubs have reached the home stretch of negotiations. “I have no information whether the contract with Maxim has already been signed. But the terms have been agreed upon between the clubs,” Nagornykh said.
Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov reported that Glushenkov would earn one billion rubles at Zenit in four years. The St. Petersburg club will pay 600 million rubles for the player’s transfer, another 400 million will be spent on agent payments and lifting fees.
Glushenkov became the best assistant and was in the top 3 best players in the “goal plus pass” system of the last RPL season. The player scored seven goals and made 16 assists in 29 matches.
