A photo of two-time Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling Abdulrashid Sadulayev appeared on the official website of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
A photo of the Russian fighting with American Kyle Snyder is available after opening the “wrestling” section on the portal.
Earlier, the IOC published the names of the first 14 Russian athletes allowed to compete at the Games as neutral athletes. Among them were 10 representatives of wrestling, but Sadulaev was not among them.
The IOC allowed Russians and Belarusians to participate in the 2024 Games as individual neutral athletes. At the same time, athletes who support a special operation in Ukraine, as well as those who have connections with the armed forces or security agencies of Russia and Belarus, will not get to Paris. In addition, representatives of team sports will miss the tournament.
