Hours after Bolivia’s 4-0 rout in La Paz, in the South American qualifiers, the Paraguayan national team announced the departure of coach Eduardo Berizzo.
In an official statement, the Paraguayan Football Association wished the 51-year-old coach luck and informed that the new commander will be chosen in the coming days.
The APF communicates that the functions of Eduardo Berizzo as head of the Paraguayan National Team have been terminated.

Berizzo has been in charge of the Paraguayan national team since 2019. Under his command, Albirroja had seven wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats in 31 games.
Paraguay is only eighth in the South American Qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, with 12 points earned after 12 matches, and has not won in three games.
