Fitness trainer Vasily Potapov explained the lack of results from working out at home. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
He noted that progress is hampered by incorrect exercise technique. “Depending on how we position our body, different muscles tense. Therefore, if when performing an exercise you do not feel that the necessary muscles are activated, be sure to check the correctness of the technique,” Potapov said.
To solve this problem, he recommended contacting a fitness trainer who will provide the correct technique. “You can take both private lessons and attend group classes,” Potapov added.
Earlier, fitness instructors Gulya Zhuravleva and Karina Ryshmakova named the rules that should be followed when practicing Zumba at home. They recommended finding a spacious room with enough space for dance moves.
