The goals
Despite the victory, Argentina was shocked to see their opponent opening the scoring. Just four minutes into the opening half, goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez spread the free kick taken by the opponent into the middle of the area. The ball hit defender Lisandro Martínez, who ended up scoring against.
However, the reaction began eight minutes later, with a goal from star Lionel Messi. The athlete took advantage of goalkeeper Nicholas Hagen’s hesitation and just pushed it into the net.
The turning point came in the first half. Despite the goalkeeper hitting the corner, Lautaro took the penalty firmly.
At 21, the center forward scored again. After a perfect pass from Messi, the player only had the job of completing it into the empty goal.
Finally, Lionel Messi scored his second of the game and completed the rout of the current world champion. After a beautiful table with Di María, the number 10 played with great skill when the goalkeeper left.
