Bolivia hosted Paraguay in La Paz this Thursday and won a good 4-0 victory in the South American Qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The result takes Bolivia to 12 points, in sixth place. Paraguay drops to seventh place, also with 12 points.
Bolivia started the first half showing a more involving football and managed to pressure Paraguay, until reaching the goal in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Ramallo took it well from outside the area and put the home team ahead until the break.
Moisés Villarroel entered the second stage and needed just seven minutes to make his mark and extend the Bolivian lead. Víctor Ábrego scored another one in the 38th minute and Roberto Fernandez set the score in the 48th minute.
The two teams return to the field for the South American Qualifiers on November 11, both at 6 pm (GMT). Paraguay host Chile at Defensores del Chaco. Bolivia visits Peru at the National Stadium in Lima.
