Fortaleza announced the loan of midfielder Luquinhas to Legia Varsóvia this Tuesday. The player will have a contract with the Polish club until June 2025.
Legia Warsaw will have a purchase option at the end of the loan contract and can keep the player permanently. Luquinhas, therefore, returns to the club he defended between 2019 and 2022, before playing in MLS.

The 27-year-old midfielder was signed by Fortaleza in January 2024, coming from New Red Bull, for approximately R$7 million. However, he was unable to earn his place in the squad.
Luquinhas only played 11 games with the Fortaleza shirt and did not directly participate in any goals. He hasn’t played since April 21st, when he came on in the second half of the rout of Altos-PI, in the quarter-finals of the Copa do Nordeste.
