The report disclosed the values in euros and considered the aggregate price of transfers for team members, estimated using an exclusive statistical model from the website itself. England’s squad is worth 1.688 billion euros, followed by France (1.409 billion) and Portugal (1.215 billion). The least valuable teams are: Romania (91 million), Albania (139 million) and Slovakia (161 million).
Germany was considered the most competitive team in the tournament. The analysis of the competitiveness of this Euro’s squads was calculated using an index that considers the minutes played in the last year by the players called up and the sporting level of the games they played. On a score from 0 to 100, the German team received 82.9, followed by Spain (82.4) and France (82.2). The least competitive countries are: Georgia (63.6), Albania (65.0) and Hungary (65.6).
Another issue raised by the report was the average age of the squads for this Euro Cup. The team with the highest average age is Scotland with 28.8 years, followed by Germany (28.6) and Denmark (28.2). The youngest squad in this edition is from the Czech Republic with 25.8, ahead of Turkey (26.2) and England (26.5).
