South Korea and China faced each other this Tuesday, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, in a game valid for the sixth and final round of the group stage of the Asian Qualifiers for the World Cup. Lee Kang-in, a Paris Saint-Germain player, scored the goal that secured the home team’s 1-0 victory.

The result took South Korea to 16 points, finishing the group stage in first place. China, in turn, came in second place, with eight points.

Both teams still do not have an exact date for returning to the pitch. It is known that the next phase of the competition will take place between September 2, 2024 and June 10, 2025.

South Korea scored the only goal of the game in the 15th minute of the second half, when Tottenham’s Son received the ball on the left and crossed low into the box. The opposing defender even tried to move it away, but the ball was clear for Lee Kang-in to hit into the back of the net.
