ISU reported losses of CHF 8.6 million for 2023
The International Skating Union (ISU) reported losses for 2023. This became known from the report on the financial activities of the organization, the data of which is published by RIA Novosti.
ISU’s revenues for 2023 amounted to 35.9 million Swiss francs, half a million less than expected. The organization’s earnings were at the level of 2022 (35.5 million).
ISU’s losses for 2023 amounted to 8.6 million Swiss francs. This figure was more than two times less than in 2022 (18.2 million).
In March 2022, the ISU banned Russian figure skaters, speed skaters and short track speed skaters from competing in tournaments under its auspices. The last major competition for domestic athletes was the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
