This Sunday, in the last friendly before starting to defend their Euro Cup title, Italy beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-0, at the Carlo Castellani Stadium. The only goal of the game was scored by Davide Frattesi.
Italy came to the field with an alternative team, with starters and reserves mixed. Despite having played better during much of the duel, the team stopped after three great saves from goalkeeper Kenan Piric and only managed to do the minimum to guarantee the victory.
Italy’s next match, scheduled for 4pm (Brasรญlia time) on Saturday, will be against Albania, in their European Championship debut. Bosnia & Hezergovina only returns to the field on September 7th, when they face the Netherlands, in the Nations League.
