Udinese announced this Saturday, through an official note, the departure of Fabio Cannavaro from the team’s technical command. The coach had taken over in April and was successful in preventing the team from falling into the Italian Second Division.
Thank you Mister for your professionalism and the important contribution made towards achieving salvation.

“Thank you Mister for your professionalism and the important contribution you made to achieving our stay in the First Division,” said Udinese in an official statement.
Cannavaro ends his time at Udinese with just six matches played, with two wins, three draws and one defeat. The team under his command finished the Italian Championship in 15th place, with 37 points.
This was the Italian’s second job as a coach in Europe, having previously coached Benevento at Udinese. Despite this, Cannavaro has already coached Guangzhou FC (China), Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia), Tianjin Quanjian (China) and had a short stint with the Chinese national team as an interim.
