AFP Retirement 2024: if you did not send your application on the indicated date, on what date should you do it?

Excellent news for Peruvians who wish to withdraw their AFP funds! Since Monday, May 20, applications for this process were opened, and it is estimated that more than 1 million people have already sent their applications on the corresponding dates. However, we know that there are citizens who, for various reasons, have not been able to complete this procedure. To address this situation, the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) has established an additional date so that all those who have not yet completed the procedure can do so.

AFP 2024: on what date should I send my application if I was not able to do so on the corresponding date?

As established in the official schedule issued by the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS), all citizens who have not been able to make their applications on the assigned date are informed that they will have the opportunity to do so during the period designated as ‘Free’. This period runs from Tuesday, July 2 to Saturday, August 17, 2024. It is important that those who have not been able to complete their procedures on the corresponding date take advantage of this opportunity to complete their applications within the established deadline.

AFP 2024: how to send the withdrawal request?

• Enter the official platform of the Association of AFPhere.
• Select the ‘I want to withdraw’ option, scroll to the bottom and click ‘Start request’.
• It will refer you to a tab in which it asks you to complete the information of your DNI number, verification digit and date of birth.
• Finish completing the requested information and wait.
• You will be asked what amount you want to withdraw and what account number the money will be sent to you.
• Confirm the information entered and click on ‘register request’.
• Keep in mind that the bank account number for the money to be deposited must be in your name.

When will the first AFP 2024 payment be paid?

The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (S.B.S.) establishes a maximum period of 30 calendar days to make the first disbursement once members submit their withdrawal request. This period is counted from the day the application is submitted. Therefore, if an affiliate submits their application on May 20, they will be able to receive their first payment from the Tax Unit (ITU) maximum on June 14.
