Khimki Supervisory Board member Roman Teryushkov spoke about the club’s interest in ex-CSKA forward Wagner Love. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The functionary admitted that many clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL) retain interest in the 37-year-old striker. “We are no exception,” he says. However, Teryushkov emphasizes that the club does not conduct any negotiations.
Earlier, Teryushkov reacted to rumors about the possible invitation of another ex-CSKA football player and UEFA Cup winner Yuri Zhirkov. He also stressed that Khimki are not negotiating, but are considering the option of inviting the player.
