English striker Jamie Vardy has renewed his contract with Leicester, recently promoted to the Premier League, for another year, the club announced on Friday.
The 37-year-old striker, who joined the Foxes in 2012, scored 20 goals in 37 games during the 2023/2024 season, in which Leicester became champions of the English second division.

Vardy, who during his time at the King Power Stadium won a Premier League and an FA Cup, is the third highest scorer in the club’s history, with 190 goals in 464 games.
“I look after myself. I’ve always said age is just a number. My legs are fine, so I keep going until my legs say ‘That’s it, it’s over,'” said the former England international.
Leicester are still looking for a new manager following the departure of Enzo Maresca, who led the team to promotion in his first season in charge but who signed for Chelsea this week.
