Baltika player Radmanovac was disqualified for two matches for his middle finger

Baltika footballer Nikola Radmanovac was suspended for an indecent gesture after the Russian Cup final with Zenit. This was announced by the head of the Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Artur Grigoryants, whose words are reported by RIA Novosti.

“The punishment is disqualification for two matches of the Russian Cup. One is real execution, one is conditional,” Grigoryants said. The player was also ordered to pay a fine of 50 thousand rubles, and a probationary period of one year was imposed on him.

According to Radmanovac, during the award ceremony he showed his middle finger not to Zenit, but to his compatriot from the St. Petersburg team, Strakhina Erakovic. At the same time, Grigoryants noted that the player admitted that he was wrong.

On June 2, Baltika lost to Zenit in the Russian Cup final. The meeting ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the national champions.
