Former footballer of the USSR national team compared Fedun with Gorbachev

Former goalkeeper of “Spartak” and the USSR national team Anzor Kavazashvili supported the former general director of the red and white Shamil Gazizov, who intends to sue 101 million rubles from the club. His words are quoted by Sport24.

Gazizov continues to have a conflict with the former club. The functionary filed a lawsuit and said that the owner of the red-and-white Leonid Fedun had promised him ten percent of Spartak’s shares.

The veteran of the capital club expressed hope that Gazizov will take possession of the club someday. Kavazashvili compared the current owner with the first and last president of the USSR, Mikhail Gorbachev. “Fedun turned out to be a fake manager and completely failed, destroying the club. He became Gorbachev for the red and white. He destroyed the country entrusted to him, ”says 81-year-old Kavazashvili.

On December 25, 1991, Gorbachev resigned as president of the USSR. The politician’s speech was broadcast on TV. The next day, the Council of Republics of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR adopted a declaration on the termination of the country’s existence.

Kavazashvili played for the USSR national team from 1965 to 1970. He became an international master of sports and an honored master of sports of the USSR.
