Ovechkin’s insurance premium amounts to several hundred thousand dollars
The head coach of the Russia 25 team, Roman Rotenberg, announced the amount of the insurance premium for the forward and captain of the Washington Capitals, Alexander Ovechkin, for a call to the Russian national team. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Ovechkin last competed for the Russian national team at the 2019 World Championships in Slovakia. He participated in ten matches, in which he scored two goals and gave one assist.
