At the end of October it was reported that Ufa was interested in inviting 38-year-old Zhirkov. It was noted that the club from Bashkortostan may try to strike a deal during the winter transfer window.
The former national team player has not played in official matches since June. Zhirkov is in the status of a free agent. He left Zenit after the end of the 2020/2021 season
The most successful stage in Zhirkov’s career was his performance for CSKA. Together with CSKA, he won the UEFA Cup. In total, he won 11 titles with CSKA.
