Casemiro becomes shareholder of Spanish third division club

Midfielder Casemiro, formerly of Real Madrid and currently at Manchester United, became a shareholder in Marbella FC, a club in the Primeira División (Spain’s third division). The club issued an official statement this Tuesday announcing the Brazilian player as a new member of the club’s membership.

“Marbella Fútbol Club is pleased to announce that Carlos Henrique Casemiro, star of Manchester United, the Brazilian national team and five-time Champions League champion, becomes, from today onwards, a new shareholder of our entity. The enthusiasm and commitment that Casemiro demonstrates towards the project is evident with his incorporation into the shareholder structure. Not only Marbella, but also the entire city, is proud that an athlete of his global scale wants to belong to our family”, says the beginning of the club’s official note, published in X.

Casemiro also spoke through Marbella’s official channel and spoke to fans about his expectations for the project. According to the Brazilian midfielder, he and his family frequent the city and are in love with it.

“It is an honor for me to join Marbella, because my biggest motivation is the club’s spectacular growth possibilities. I’ve been to Marbella several times with my family and children. My wife and I are in love with this city, to which we want to be connected for life. Without a doubt, together we will dream big of taking Marbella to the top, but now we have to take advantage of our wonderful promotion to the First Division”, concluded Casemiro.
