The captain of the Belgian national team, Kevin De Bruyne, does not rule out playing in the Arab world in the near future. The midfielder is in the final year of his contract with Manchester City and said he is seriously considering his future in England with his family.
“I still have a year left on my contract, so I have to think about what could happen. My eldest son is now eight years old and knows nothing but England. He also asks how long I will play for City. When the time comes, we will have to deal with it in a certain way,” said De Bruyne, in an interview with the Belgian website HLN.

According to the 32-year-old player, another factor to consider is the financial issue. De Bruyne highlighted that even though he had played for so long in Europe, two years in the Arab world would have made him more money than he had in his entire career.
“At my age you have to be open to everything. You’re talking about an incredible amount of money in what could be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about it. If I play there (in Saudi) for two years, I’ll be able to make an incredible amount of money. Before that, I had to play football for 15 years. I might not even get to that amount yet. think about it”, concluded the Belgian.
De Bruyne has been at Manchester City since 2015. So far for the English club there have been 382 appearances, 102 goals and 170 assists. There are 18 titles won, including a Champions League and six English Championships.
