Porto confirmed this Tuesday the departure of coach Sérgio Conceição, who had been in charge of the team since 2017.
Conceição had renewed his contract with the ‘Dragões’, but the arrival of former coach André Villas-Boas as president of the club brought forward his departure.

According to the specialized press, the 49-year-old former Portuguese national team player is on his way to Olympique Marseille, while Porto is expected to announce his hitherto assistant Victor Bruno.
As Porto coach, Sérgio Conceição won 11 titles, including three Portuguese Championships (2018, 2020 and 2022).
However, in the last edition the team finished third, 18 points behind champions Sporting, although victory in the Portuguese Cup final saved the season.
