Athlete Elena Kulichenko said that studying in Russia is harder than in the USA
Athlete Elena Kulichenko, who changed her citizenship from Russian to Cypriot, compared education in the USA and Russia. Her words are quoted by Soviet Sport.
The athlete said that studying in Russia is much more difficult, since the higher education system in the country is tough, clear and without concessions. “And in the USA there are some subjects in which we frankly do bullshit, but you will still get this education,” she considered.
In September, former Russian track and field athlete Elena Kulichenko shared her opinion about the stereotype of stupid Americans. Kulichenko said that there are really a lot of stupid people in the USA who don’t know basic things.
Kulichenko, who competes in the high jump, changed her nationality in 2021, saying the decision brought her great benefit. She is the vice-champion of Russia among juniors, as well as a prize-winner of the European Youth Festival 2017.
