Guberniev spoke about the importance of results in sports after Krugovoy’s words about Zenit
The famous Russian sports journalist Dmitry Guberniev commented on the words of football player Danila Krugovoy, who is moving from Zenit to CSKA, about the privileges of foreigners in the St. Petersburg team. Guberniev shared his opinion on this matter in a conversation with Lenta.ru.
The commentator noted that in sports the main thing is the result.
“The rest is all within the club: the coach-student relationship. One may be God’s gift, and the other may be scrambled eggs. This is me in the abstract, without application to Brazilians and football. Therefore, from one the demand is like a gift from God, and from the other – like scrambled eggs. But my statement has nothing to do with Krugovoy or Zenit. It’s just that I love Russian speech,” Guberniev said.
Previously, Russian defender Danil Krugovoy, who transferred from Zenit to CSKA, spoke about the privileges of foreigners in the St. Petersburg team. The footballer said that the Brazilian Wendel was regularly late for training camps, but still played. “And his competitor, who worked conscientiously, did not play,” he emphasized.
The same situation, according to the defender, happened with him and the Brazilian Douglas Santos, when Zenit head coach Sergei Semak preferred the Brazilian, although Krugovoy, according to him, was in better shape.
