Footballer Danil Krugovoy said that Brazilians have privileges at Zenit
Russian defender Danil Krugovoy, who is moving from Zenit to CSKA, spoke about the privileges of foreigners in the St. Petersburg team. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The footballer said that the Brazilian Wendel was regularly late for training camps, but still played. “And his competitor, who worked conscientiously, did not play,” he emphasized. The same situation, according to the defender, happened with him and the Brazilian Douglas Santos, when Zenit head coach Sergei Semak preferred the Brazilian, although Krugovoy was in better shape.
Krugovoi moved from Zenit to CSKA on January 17. The army team’s agreement with the 26-year-old football player was activated on June 4, 2024 and runs until the end of the 2027/2028 season.
Earlier, Krugovoy complained about rising prices with the same salaries. He said that the players feel it.
