Fitness expert Kokorev: hot workouts are prohibited during thrombosis and pregnancy
Fitness expert Denis Kokorev named contraindications for hot workouts for Russians. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
Hot training involves performing exercises in special rooms where high levels of humidity (about 40-50 percent) and air temperature (about plus 35 degrees) are maintained. Kokorev noted that despite a number of benefits—increased sweating, improved flexibility, increased blood circulation and fat burning—workouts can be dangerous.
The specialist listed the conditions under which hot training is prohibited. Among them, Kokorin named diseases with high fever, pregnancy, a tendency to heavy bleeding, general atherosclerosis, an active form of tuberculosis, malignant and benign neoplasms and suspicions of them, an unstable form of diabetes mellitus, varicose veins, acute thrombosis and arterial hypertension. In addition, it is not recommended to attend such classes while taking diuretics, barbiturates, beta blockers and antihistamines.
Previously, fitness trainer Natalia Volkova recommended a quick set of exercises to strengthen the immune system. She suggested including elbow extensions and flexions with dumbbells and simulating throwing a ball.
