The tournament in Guadalajara was not the only one on which Iga Świątek earned very well. In total, she managed to get a staggering amount of USD 1.9 million, i.e. almost PLN 7.8 million! This is a huge amount, but still not as high as last year, when a Pole triumphed in the Grand Slam Roland Garros. Earnings for 2020 amounted to $ 300,000 more. In total, for all five years of professional career at the highest level, the 20-year-old earned as much as USD 4.9 million, or about PLN 20 million.
Iga Świątek does not earn only on the court. Thanks to her good performances in sports competitions, the Pole has already attracted a large group of sponsors. The most important and the largest of them – the PZU Group has been supporting the Polish tennis player for a long time. In addition, however, the 20-year-old is an ambassador of the Xiaomi brand, but also the world-famous manufacturer of Rolex watches.
