Real Madrid announces details for the Champions League final

Through its official profile on X, Real Madrid announced this Thursday the list of players who will travel to the Champions League final. Among the names are some players who will go to England just to support the squad, such as Alaba and Tchouaméni, who will not be able to play.

Another highlight on the list is the presence of goalkeeper Lunin, who contracted the flu just a few days before the final and even trained separately from the rest of the squad. Even with the Ukrainian goalkeeper being listed, the starter should be Belgian Thibaut Courtois.

At Wembley, Real Madrid will try to win their 15th Champions League trophy. The club’s last title in European competition was won recently, in 2022. On that occasion, the Spanish beat Liverpool 1-0, with a goal from Vinícius Júnior.

The grand final of the Champions League between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund is this Saturday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at Wembley Stadium, in England.
