Enjoying his vacation in Mallorca, an island in Spain, coach Jurgen Klopp, who said goodbye to Liverpool in recent days, revealed this Thursday that he will not retire. Despite this, he admitted that he will slow down the pace he has had in recent years.
“It is out of the question to stop working. However, at the moment, I don’t see myself continuing at the same pace as I have been doing so far,” he said in an interview with the newspaper Bild.
The commander also stated that he does not know how he will feel after this career break.
“A coach is a coach. And you do it with everything you have, or you do nothing. That’s how I understand it. Now I’m taking time off. How can I know how I feel during or after the break and what I want to do So? No idea. Let’s just wait.”
Klopp also spoke about Mallorca and was excited about being in one of the Balearic islands.
“I’ve dreamed all my life of having a house in the south (of Europe). I like the weather, the climate, I like the people. There are a lot of things I like here. And also people I already know. It’s not like I’m looking new friends. I already have friends for life and if some of them are also here, that’s fine”, he reported.
Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool after nine seasons and became a team idol. His main titles at the club were: Champions League, English Championship, World Cup and FA Cup.
