Figure skater Valieva said that her body is growing, so she is not entirely happy
Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, in an interview with Pavel Kompan’s YouTube channel, spoke about problems with weight.
The athlete said that her body is growing, so she is not entirely happy with it. “I have my own ideal that I strive for. But for now I’m at a transition point,” she said.
Last December, Valieva admitted that it was difficult for her to live with her new weight. She emphasized that one must not lose heart and work. Valieva called Elizaveta Tuktamysheva her idol, who performed at a high level for more than ten seasons.
In January, the Court of Arbitration for Sport suspended Valieva for four years for doping. The period of disqualification starts from December 25, 2021. According to the court, the athlete could not prove that she took the prohibited drug trimetazidine, which was found in her sample, unintentionally.
