American fighter Strickland described Russia with the words “morals, traditions, values”

Former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight, American Sean Strickland on the UFC Eurasia Instagram page (social network banned in Russia; belongs to the Meta company, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation) described Russia in three words.

“Morals, traditions, family values,” said the athlete. He said he loved Russia and called the country’s people tough but good. Strickland added that Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters are his best sparring partners.

Strickland previously criticized life in the United States. The athlete said that he does not like the fact that Mexican flags are hung all over the country, and the majority of those living on the west coast of the country no longer understand English.

In total, Strickland fought 34 fights during his career, 28 of which ended in victory. He is ranked number one in the UFC middleweight rankings. The American’s next fight will be against Brazilian Paulo Costa at UFC 302.
